The staff at the hostel were friendly and helpful. the location was great, with bars and clubs just outside and only a ten-minute walk to the main attractions. the facilities were clean and well-maintained. the kitchen and lounge were spacious, and the kitchen was well-equipped. the breakfast was good, and there were daily events to enjoy.

    Felt like home, no complaints.

    Price, location, friendly&helpful staff.

Not an ensuite, there is a sink in the double room and the shared bathroom down the hall for the double rooms very small. Web pictures of bathroom are misleading.

It was great being able to leave our bags as we arrived before check in. The staff were really helpful as well. When check in time did arrive our room was not ready (two twin bed ensuite) so we ended up getting two bunk beds in a larger room which worked out nicely for us. They offered a lot of different activities during the evenings when we were there such as ice cream and crepes, pool night, and free dinner but we never attended any of them. The location was pretty good too. Maybe a ten minute walk to the temple bar area. Fifteen to o'connell street. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby too!

Really noisy room! Could hear everything on the road. Including all of the drunk people who liked to walk by at 4am. The shower was also not the greatest. I had a hard time getting a temperature that was scalding hot or freezing cold. Breakfast selection wasn't great either. But good place to grab something quick less than a minute down the road.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel in Dublin. The location was perfect, just a short walk to all the pubs and restaurants. The staff were really friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The free WiFi was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. Every evening, the hostel organized a social event where I got to meet other travelers and enjoy some food and drinks. I also appreciated the 24/7 access to free tea and coffee. I had a great experience at Times Hostel - Camden Place and would definitely recommend it to others.

Great location, staff very friendly, could make my own tea

We aren't used to spending time in a hostel, so a few things were a surprise to us, ie no towels or soap in the bathroom, and bunk beds when we ordered a double room

Everything. I don't think a hostel can get any better. Helpful staff, great self-service breakfast, everything is nice and clean. I stayed at a different hostel in Dublin about half a year ago, and that one was pretty good as well, but Times Hostel is even better.

Nothing really. My laptop didn't have wireless reception in the public area (in the room everything worked perfectly), but others had no such problems.

They were always willing to assist with any issues or questions we had. Additionally, the location of the hostel was great. It was in close proximity to many pubs, restaurants, and attractions, making it easy to explore the city. Another advantage was the comfortable beds, which ensured a good night's sleep.

One downside was the intermittent Wi-fi connection. At times, it was difficult to access the internet due to the shaky connection.

The staff was super friendly and helpful! The hostel is modern and well equipped with a kitchen and PCs. They put on events every day, including free beer nights and pancakes mornings. Our private room was small but very clean, and the bathroom was modern and warm. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the center and close to a bus stop for easy access to the airport and main attractions. We also appreciated the free supper meal and the fact that the staff kept our forgotten bottle of Jameson safe until we returned to retrieve it.

Felt like a true getaway, no complaints.

Friendly, informal, clean, quiet en-suite room. Great breakfast (if you got down early- I had all I wanted, my son came down later and was restricted. Very comfortable lounge- nice to have free drinks- very welcome after arriving late in evening.

    A bit far from centre.

Great location, easy walk to good shopping and bars. As far as hostels go this is one of the better ones!

Taxi drivers were unfamiliar with the location but the website gives you easy directions. Bedrooms smell a bit funny, may need a day with no one in them to air out. towels are 2 euro a day to rent, so bring your own and a lock for your belongings.

Rooms clean, comfy beds. Fresh linens, new pillows. Ensuite bathrooms refurbished, spotless. Fantastic kitchen, free storage, cutlery. 24hr reception, comfy communal areas. Perfect location with bars nearby. Affordable for three adults, cramped but functional room. Good breakfast, reliable wifi. Convenient bunk beds with own lights, power outlets.

We booked a doube room with an own bathroom. The room itself and the bathroom were very small, but in good condition and - most important - quite new and clean. But the kitchen was another story (see below).

The free breakfast (included in the price for the room) has not deserved to be called so. You had the choice between white toast and whole grain toast. With one choice of jam or without. Or Cereals with milk. That was it... The kitchen itself was not as clean it should be and seemed to be quite run down.
